Privacy
No accounts, no forms, and calculator inputs stay in your browser. We count visits with Google Analytics, and the site is served by Cloudflare. That is the whole story.
The short version
This site has no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no way to submit personal information to us. The numbers you type into calculators stay in your browser. We use Google Analytics to count visits. That is the whole story; the rest of this page is the detail.
What stays in your browser
The calculators run entirely in your browser: the prices, incomes and scores you enter are not sent to our servers. Two things are kept in your browser’s local storage so the site works better on a return visit:
- your theme choice (light, dark or system);
- a shared calculator profile — the values you typed, so the next calculator opens pre-filled. It expires after thirty days.
Both live only on your device. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them. We never see them.
What we measure
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from. It sets cookies and collects the usual telemetry — pages viewed, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type. Google processes this data on our behalf; Google’s own privacy policy covers what it does as a processor. We see aggregated reports, not individuals.
We do not run advertising, we do not sell or share visitor data, and we have no interest-based tracking of our own.
If you block analytics with a browser extension or your browser’s settings, the site works exactly the same.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which sees the network-level information any host sees — IP addresses and request logs — and processes it under its own privacy policy to deliver and protect the site.
The data we publish
Pages about lenders, counties and metros are derived from public Home Mortgage Disclosure Act filings. That dataset is published by the CFPB with borrower privacy protections already applied, and we publish only aggregates — medians and counts over thousands of loans — never individual records.

Changes
If our practices change — a new analytics tool, anything collected server-side — this page changes first, and the date below moves.
